ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum is a yearly event hosted by the ASEAN University Network based in Bangkok, Thailand. The 5th ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum was held at Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 26th - 31st August 2007. This time, the event was hosted by the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
5 students from Aadyamaatra Dance Group and 1 officer from the Cultural Centre of UKM were chosen to participate in this event. The theme of the event is "Arts, Identity and Unity" in order to bring the spirit of friendship and togetherness among AUN member universities through their own unique arts performance and collaboration of all participants. Participations came from ASEAN countries namely ; Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Indonesia.
The forum comprised of four main activities :
1. Lectures
2. Workshops
3. Cultural Performance
4. Cultural Trip

The event has deliberately planned to capture the essence of ASEAN cultural heritage; it's influences and development in order to promote better understanding and appreciation to the ASEAN Culture. Therefore it would provide rare opportunity for our youths, especially those attached with arts and culture, in a way that knowledge and experiences gained from this participating would complement and be useful to their studies and personal interests.
